I've stayed at Hotel De Werf three times now and it never disappoints. The beds are incredibly comfortable and the rooms are nice. Despite some noise from the lively streets and hotel stairs, it was not at all disturbing for me. The staff was very accommodating, allowing me to choose my breakfast time and the owner's daughter was professional and efficient during check-in. The room itself was lovely, offering a great view. Thanks to the hotel, my first stay in Europe was fantastic. The location is perfect, right across from the Marine Museum dockyard complex and several excellent restaurants. The bedding and room accessories are of great quality. The dining area for breakfast and post-work drinks is pleasant, and the area is quiet at night. The rear-facing rooms even have a patio or balcony. It's the ideal starting point for exploring the region, with plenty of good restaurants and museums located in the dockyards that once served the Royal Netherlands Navy. While the breakfast options were limited, there was enough variety to have a good start to the day. the bar downstairs offers a great selection of beers that you can even take back up to your room.

my third stay in den helder was incredible, and de werf surpassed all expectations during this relaxing spa getaway. the stylish and cozy hotel design, along with the friendly staff and decent breakfast buffet, made it a perfect choice for a comfortable and enjoyable stay.

Our stay at De Werf was truly worth the money. The room was cozy and had a unique feature - an LP player. The location was perfect for exploring the region, with great restaurants and museums nearby. The staff provided excellent service and the beds were very comfortable.

The only thing that could have made the morning meal better was a wider variety of options.

From the moment I walked in, I was blown away by their INCREDIBLE service. They were so accommodating, even asking when I wanted breakfast in case I wanted to sleep in. The check-in process was super smooth and the owner's daughter was extremely professional. The room itself was absolutely jaw-dropping, with a stunning view. It felt like a dream come true to have such a fantastic first stay in Europe.

I had a wonderful stay at a cozy and stylish hotel in Den Helder. The room was equipped with a coffee maker and the bed was very comfortable. The small and friendly staff made me feel welcome. The hotel's location in the heart of the city allowed me to easily explore the region and visit the nearby restaurants and museums. The breakfast had enough variety to start my day off right. I also appreciated the option to enjoy a good variety of beers from the bar downstairs in the comfort of my room. I highly recommend staying at this hotel.
